New FUJITSU LIFEBOOK U820

Fujitsu kembali meng-update dua laptop line LifeBook, UMPC seperti U series dan tablet PC P series yang kecil di pasar U.S. Fujitsu sengaja mendesain dua laptop tersebut untuk konsumen yang ingin memiliki sesuatu yang portable seperti Netbook, tetapi mau membayar lebih untuk mendapatkan fitur yang banyak. Pertama adalah Fujitsu LifeBook U820 dengan ukuran display 5.6 inch, sebagai hasil update dari U810 yang telah dirilis tahun lalu. Fujitsu LifeBook U820 dilengkapi dengan GPS receiver, plus integrasi PC software Garmin Mobile untuk pengatur arah dan tempat tujuan tertentu.

U820 dibangun di processor Intel Atom Z-series dan memiliki 1GB RAM, plus harddisk 120GB atau pilihan SSD 64GB. Fitur yang ada seperti webcam 1.3 megapixel, fingerprint reader, dan lock slot Kensington. Sedangkan untuk fitur WWAN akan dimasukkan di tahun 2009. Fujitsu memiliki dua pilihan, yakni dua cell baterai, yang mampu bertahan hingga 3.5 jam, dan empat cell baterai yang dapat bertahan hingga 7.5 jam.
